PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic disk of low noise capable of attaining high recording density. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of the magnetic disk which is provided with at least an underlayer 2, a magnetic layer 3 and a protective layer 4 on a glass substrate 1 and wherein the magnetic layer comprises an alloy including CoCr and has two or more layers including first and second magnetic layers 3c and 3d, a DC bias is applied during film-deposition of the first magnetic layer 3c.
