摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a suppressing effect of increasing of viscosity in a micro-vibrating action. SOLUTION: This liquid jet device comprises a liquid jet head and a drive signal generation section. The liquid jet head has an element for changing a volume of a pressurizing chamber by being operated by charging or discharging and a nozzle communicating with the pressurizing chamber. The drive signal generation section generates a drive signal having a waveform of a voltage change pattern to be applied to a liquid in the pressurizing chamber in order to generate micro-vibration on a freedom surface of a liquid exposed from a nozzle. The waveform of the voltage change pattern includes a part PS1a in which the voltage is changed from a reference voltage Vst to a micro-vibration voltage Vv1, a part PS1c in which the voltage is changed from the micro-vibration voltage to an intermediate voltage Vm2 preset between the reference voltage and the micro-vibration voltage, a part PS1e in which the voltage is changed from the intermediate voltage to the micro-vibration voltage, and a part PS1g in which the voltage is changed from the micro-vibration voltage to the reference voltage.
