PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightened storage box restraining lowering of rigidity and durability to the utmost in comparison with a metallic storage box. SOLUTION: This storage box is constituted of: a box body 1 furnished with a cover 3; and a storage inner tray 4 arranged in the box body, the box body 1 including the cover 3 is metallic and the inner tray 4 is made of synthetic resin. The synthetic resin-made inner trays 4, 4a prevent deformation and marring of the storage inner trays 4, 4a by relaxing impact when a hard and heavy stored article such as a metal tool, hits the inner tray, and decrease colliding sound.
