PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the culture of Nostoc flagelliforme cells and the extraction of polysaccharides of the Nostoc flagelliforme to be carried out by linking to each other. SOLUTION: The method for carrying out the culture of the Nostoc flagelliforme cells and the extraction of the polysaccharides of the Nostoc flagelliforme by linking to each other is provided to solve the problems wherein the polysaccharides of the Nostoc flagelliforme can be extracted only from the alga body of the Nostoc flagelliforme. A cell species of the Nostoc flagelliforme is obtained by separating the Nostoc flagelliforme cells from the alga body of the Nostoc flagelliforme, and culturing and purifying the Nostoc flagelliforme cells by adding the Nostoc flagelliforme cells to a medium. The polysaccharides of the Nostoc flagelliforme is extracted from a culture liquid obtained by amplifying and culturing the cell type, and subjecting the product to liquid suspension culture.
