PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight, inexpensive and rigid constituent member for a fishing reel. SOLUTION: The constituent member for a fishing reel is such as to have a leg part 3 with a fishing rod-fitting part 3a on the top end, wherein at least the leg part 3 is formed of a polyamide resin-based thermoplastic resin composition containing 30-60 mass% of carbon fibers 7μm or smaller in single fiber diameter and 3 mm or shorter in single fiber length and is 100-400 mm<SP>4</SP>in the section secondary moment of the minimum cross-section area part and 40-70 mm<SP>2</SP>in the minimum cross-section area.
