<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exposure device for forming an excellent image free of density unevenness and a position error by relatively moving a moving stage and an exposure head by a linear guide device using a rolling body. <P>SOLUTION: Through averaging effect during multi-exposure within the range of the length L of a belt of many exposure points arrayed in a scanning direction in an exposure area 32, the distribution of exposure quantities becomes a Gaussian distribution which has a broad base and a relatively low peak and the peak of the Gaussian distribution nearly meets the center point of one predetermined pixel to be exposed on a recording medium, thereby forming a suitable latent image of a dot of planned size at the position of the one predetermined pixel to be exposed on the recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
