<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a thin molten carbonate fuel cell having no warp and low contact resistance with an MEA by manufacturing the separator by etching a metallic material small in thermal expansion at 600°C of the operation temperature of a molten carbonate fuel cell, and to provide a fuel cell using the separator. <P>SOLUTION: The separator for the molten carbonate fuel cell has a gas passage comprising 16.5-17.5 wt.% Co, 28.5-29.5 wt.% Ni, and the remaining of Fe and unavoidable impurities, and center line average roughness (Ra) (JISB0601) on the surface other than the gas passage is made to be 0.3-0.8 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
