PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin sheet manufacturing method which enables the acquisition of a desired flawless profile of a resin sheet, especially, a resin sheet best-suited for use applications to a light guide plate and various kinds of optics arranged on the back of various kinds of displays, in manufacturing the resin sheet having a wide thickness distribution in the width direction during molding, and a resin sheet manufacturing device. SOLUTION: In this resin sheet manufacturing method, a sheet-like resin material 14 extruded from a die 12 and a backup sheet 20 to be supplied to the one surface side of the resin material 14, are inserted under pressure by a molding roller 16 and a nipping roller 18 arranged opposite to the molding roller 16, in the way the resin material 14 comes to the molding roller 16 side and the backup sheet 20 to the nipping roller 18 side. Thus the uneven shape of the molding roller surface is transferred to the resin material 14, and a laminate of the resin material 14 and the backup sheet 20 after the transfer, is wound around a release roller 24 arranged opposite to the molding roller 16, and the resin sheet is released from the molding roller 16. Faults can be reduced by controlling the temperature of the molding roller 16 so that it is higher than the temperature of the release roller 24. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
