EMBOSSING EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide embossing equipment capable of uniformly lowering glossiness in a desired range without damaging an image receiving sheet. SOLUTION: The embossing equipment 1 is equipped with an embossing roller 15 having a surface formed with irregularities and a counter roller 15 arranged to face the embossing roller 15, holds a sheet-like printing object 2 between the embossing roller 15 and the counter roller 16 and gives the irregularities to the printing object. The spacing d between the projecting parts of the embossing roller 15 and the surface of the counter roller 16 is specified to 50 to 200μm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
