PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device that does not apply external force, such as unnecessary impact, to equipment and can prevent vibration and impact from being applied during the operation of a hard disk drive in particular. SOLUTION: A lock 14 is provided for controlling the rotation of a support leg 12 so that no vibration and impact are applied to a liquid crystal display unit 10 and a built-in hard disk drive 13, thus preventing the external force, such as the unnecessary impact by the adjustment, or the like of the screen angle of the liquid crystal display unit 10 from being applied. Especially, no vibration and impact are applied during the operation of the hard disk drive 13, thus preventing the hard disk drive 13 from being damaged. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
