PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diversity synthesis method for decreasing the data transfer delay time. SOLUTION: The diversity synthesis method transfers a signal, resulting from synthesized signals received via any of a plurality of transmission paths or signals of the same contents received via the transmission paths to other communication equipment as a desired signal, and includes a signal composite step of synthesizing the received signal with the signal stored at that time, when the signal of the same contents as those of the received signal is stored; and a power level discrimination step that compares the power level of the composite signal with the threshold for discriminating the signal quality, when the signal composite step synthesizes the signals, compares the power level of the received signal with the threshold cases other than this, and discriminates a signal used for a comparison object signal as a desired signal, when the power level of the comparison object signal exceeds the threshold.
