PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rain proof outlet with a thunder protection function which can be manufactured and maintained easily. SOLUTION: The rain proof outlet with the thunder protection function is composed of an arrestor unit 80 which is provided with a structural part including a thunder proof element and houses an arrestor base plate 81 provided with power source blades 83, 84 and a grounding sealing blade 85 in an arrestor base plate housing case 90. A power source terminal 50 provided with an arrestor blade receiving part 53 with which the power source blades 83, 84 and the grounding sealing blade 85 are electrically inserted and connected, a power source terminal 55 provided with the arrestor blade receiving part 58 and a base 11 which houses a grounding terminal 60 provided with the arrestor blade receiving part 63 are electrically connected, and the arrestor unit 80 and an outlet main body are electrically connected and housed in an insulating case 2.
