PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container which can surely store a cylindrical freight increased in volume and weight and is excellent in security properties. SOLUTION: The container 100 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape, includes a rectangular bottom wall part 110 extended in the transferring direction, two end wall parts standing from short sides of the bottom wall part, two side wall parts standing from long sides of the bottom wall part, and a ceiling part, and is used for transferring arranged and stored casks 10 fixed on trestles 20 in a line. The bottom wall part 110 is equipped with a trestle installing part 410 fitted with the trestle 20 and equipped with a peripheral edge part concealing a fork inserting hole 25 formed on the side face of the trestle 20. The side wall parts are equipped with an opening for inspection with a size through which a human being can go in and out but the casks 10 cannot be taken out, and a door for inspection for opening and closing the opening for inspection. The ceiling part is equipped with an opening for the freight through which the casks 10 placed on the trestle 20 can be taken in and out from above, and a door for the freight for opening and closing the opening for the freight.
