PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof structure of an automobile capable of retracting a roof with good space efficiency while keeping an independent storage space of a trunk room, in an open-top state and a targa-top state by simple opening/closing operation, and materializing that at low cost. SOLUTION: The roof structure can be divided into a center roof portion 1 positioned in an upper side of a vehicular cabin, a rear roof portion 2 positioned behind the center roof portion 1, and a back window portion 3. The center roof portion 1, the rear roof portion 2, and the back window portion 3 are supported so as to rock about shafts (11a, 12a, 21a, 31a) in a vehicular width direction on both side portions 10 of a vehicle body. Rocked backward or downward, the rear roof portion 2, the back window portion 3, and the center roof portion 1 are superimposed in this order and retracted in standing postures in a roof storage space 80 formed between the rear seat 7 and the trunk room 40.
