PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gemini type surfactant that is excellent in reattachment prevention, without substantially containing an alkali metal. SOLUTION: The gemini type surfactant comprises a neutralized salt of an acid (A) comprising 2-3 hydrophobic groups, 2 hydrophilic groups, and one linking group and an amine (B) having 10-152 kcal/mol change in the heat of formation in a proton addition reaction, wherein (B) is preferably at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a compound having at least one guanidine skeleton in a molecule, a compound having at least one amidine skeleton in a molecule and a compound having at least one N=P-N sekeleton in a molecule or a proton sponge derivative; and (A) is preferably a dicarboxylic acid, disulfonic acid, diphosphoric acid, carboxy sulfonic acid, carboxy sulfonic acid ester, carboxy phosphoric acid, carboxy phosphoric acid ester, sulfophosphoric acid, sulfophosphoric acid ester, or phosphonosulfonic acid ester.
