PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve installation performance, while miniaturizing a fuel injector. SOLUTION: This fuel injector has an armature 120 integrally moving with a plunger 110, a cylindrical inner yoke 130 slidingly storing the armature, an outer yoke 190, a bobbin 170 wound with an excitation coil 180, a return spring 150, a passage member 140 defining a force feed chamber C and a fuel passage, an injection nozzle 300 joined to the passage member and injecting fuel delivered from the force feed chamber C, a return pipe 160 returning the fuel or vapor to an original passage, and a housing 200 defining the external contour. The housing 200 defines a fuel supply passage 201a, and is molded by a resin material by integrally incorporating the bobbin 170 and the outer yoke 190. The inner yoke 130 is directly fitted and fixed to the bobbin and the outer yoke. Thus, installation work can be simplified, and the injector can be miniaturized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
