PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underground structure wherein floating of the underground structure due to the ground water is prevented while execution of work is simple. SOLUTION: The underground structure 1 is composed of a top-opened and bottomed cylinder of a box body 2 of a rectangular shape in plane view and a counter-weight 3 placed in the bottom of the box body 2. Accordingly, the box body 2 is prevented from floating because a load of the counter-weight 3 counteracts against a force by the groundwater for floating the box body 2.
