PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid bearing device with increased assembly accuracy and fixing strength between a shaft member and another member. SOLUTION: An inner peripheral face 9b of a first flange part 9 fixed to an outer periphery of a shaft member 2, has a small diameter face 9b1 and a large-diameter face 9b2 larger in diameter than the small diameter face 9b1. An inner diameter dimension of the small diameter face 9b1 before fixing is smaller than an outer diameter dimension of an outer peripheral face 2a of opposed shaft member 2. The first flange part 9 is introduced into the shaft member 2 with a state where the small diameter face 9b1 is pressed into the outer peripheral face 2a, and an area where the small diameter face 9b1 is press-fit into the outer peripheral face 2a is a press-fitting part 12. An inner diameter dimension of the large diameter face 9b2 is larger than an outer diameter dimension of the outer peripheral face 2a of the opposed shaft member 2. Therefore, with a state where the first flange part 9 is introduced into the fixing area of the shaft member 2, radial clearance is formed between the outer diameter face 9b2 and the outer peripheral face 2a opposed to the large diameter face 9b2, and the clearance is filled with adhesive 13 to form an adhesive filling part 14.
