<p>An electromagnetic relay is provided for facilitating production of a die and assembling work. The electromagnetic relay comprises a base (10); an electromagnet block (20) having one end of an iron core (30) whereupon a coil (21) is wound serve as a magnetic pole (31) and the other end (32) caulked to an L-shaped yoke (40) and mounted on the base (10); a movable iron piece (50) supported rotatably by the yoke (40) through an L-shaped hinge spring (60) having a horizontal portion (61) inserted between the upper surface of the base (10) and the base of the yoke (40) and opposing the magnetic pole (31) of the iron core (30) to approach/separate freely; a card (80) reciprocating based on rotation of the movable iron piece (50); and a contact mechanism (70) formed on the base (10) and driven by the card (80). Positioning ribs (62) formed on the opposite side edges at the horizontal portion (61) of the hinge spring (60) by raising are provided with resilient blocking clicks (62a), respectively, to latch onto a spool (22).</p>
