<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium which uses a recovered coloring matter, and also, has good recording characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: This optical recording medium is equipped with a recording layer containing an organic color matter cation or a metal complex color matter cation, and PF<SB>6</SB><SP>-</SP>. In a high speed atom bombardment mass spectrometry of the recording layer, when the peak strength of m/e=145 is taken as 100, the peak strength of m/e=325 is 0.5 to 24, and the peak strength of m/e=213 is 0.5 or lower for the optical recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
