<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of improving discharge capacity density, and of providing excellent cycle characteristic and load characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: For a positive electrode active material of a positive electrode 1, Li<SB>x</SB>Ti<SB>2</SB>(PO<SB>4</SB>)<SB>3</SB>(0≤x≤5) being a Nasicon type oxyacid lithium compound and having a crystalline system belonging to a space group R-3c is used. For a negative electrode 2, a material capable of storing and releasing lithium ions is used. In this nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, plateaus are respectively present, by lithium reference potential, in a region of 2.6 to 3 V, a region of 2.2 to 2.6 V, a region of 2.1 to 2.5, and a region not higher than 2V in discharging and charging. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
