<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate always a stable output regardless of a fuel supply amount. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises a DC-DC converter 8 which is connected to a DMFC unit having a plurality of power generation cells 2a-2c and adjusts an output of the DMFC unit and supplies it to a load, a constant voltage control circuit 12 which controls an output voltage of the DMFC unit to a constant value by the DC-DC converter 8, and a constant current control circuit 14 which controls the output current of the DMFC unit to a constant value. The system monitors the output voltage and the output current of the DMFC unit, and based on states of the output voltage and the output current, an operation mode of the DMFC unit is determined, and the constant voltage control circuit or the constant current control circuit is selected to control the DC-DC converter 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
