<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently regenerate energy by generating braking force by preferentially using a regeneration brake generation means. <P>SOLUTION: A braking device is provided with a generator 4, a main exhaust shutter valve 7, a sub exhaust shutter valve 8, an exhaust brake switch 10 and a CPU 20. The CPU 20 generates regeneration brake force by the generator 4 based on a judgment that a vehicle traveling condition is an engine brake operation condition. The CPU 20 controls the main exhaust shutter valve 7 and the sub exhaust shutter valve 8 when the CPU 20 determines that the vehicle traveling condition is in the engine brake operation condition and that exhaust brake generation direction by a driver is input by the exhaust brake switch 10. The CPU 20 sets the main exhaust shutter valve 7 and the sub exhaust shutter valve 8 to a close condition and an open condition respectively when the CPU 20 judges that a gear position is in a 4th position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
