<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an alkali amount for pH adjustment, to appropriately perform the pH adjustment and to prevent the fouling and closure of a piping system when performing the pH adjustment by adding alkali in a treating water circulation piping system to treating water for which waste gas treatment is performed inside a waste gas treating column and repeatedly using it for the waste gas treatment. <P>SOLUTION: In the waste gas treating column for removing harmful components in waste gas by bringing the treating water and the waste gas into gas-liquid contact in the first stage 35 of a column main body 2, cooling and washing the waste gas in the second stage 36 and exhausting the treated waste gas from a waste gas exit 7 at the upper part of the column main body 2, a part of waste gas treating water in the second stage 36 is led to a waste water tank 20 and the remaining part is led to a circulation tank 4 respectively. The treating water 3 stored in the circulation tank 4 is led to the first stage 35 through treating water circulation piping 27 and utilized for the waste gas treatment, alkali liquid is fed to the circulation tank 4 and the pH of the treating water inside the circulation tank 4 is adjusted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
