<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform time correction more surely and accurately, while saving power consumption, regardless of the state of a power source. <P>SOLUTION: This clock is equipped with a clocking part 101 for clocking a time, a reception part 102 for receiving a standard electric wave including time information, a time correction determination part 103 for determining whether a time (clocked time) clocked by the clocking part 101 is to be corrected or not (necessity of correction) based on a reception result by the reception part 102, and a time correction part 104 for correcting the clocked time based on a result of the necessity of correction determined by the time correction determination part 103. The time correction determination part 103 has a plurality of determination standards for determining the necessity of correction, selects some one from among the plurality of determination standards, and determines the necessity of correction by using the selected determination standard. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
