<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking lot charge calculation method which discounts a parking charge for a customer who is highly likely to be considering purchasing an expensive product or using an expensive service. <P>SOLUTION: A large-scale retail store 1 has a vehicle entry gate device 2, a vehicle exit gate device 3, a sales floor antenna device 5 installed in a specific area, and a server device 4. The vehicle entry gate device 2 and the sales floor antenna device 5 read out an ID kept by a customer, and transmit the time read out and the information on the devices to the server device. The server device 4 records the action history of the customer associating it with the ID of the customer. The vehicle exit gate reads the ID kept by the customer, calculates a parking charge corresponding to the difference between the parking time from the vehicle entry time to the present time and the free-of-charge time corresponding to the time when the ID has been present in the area where the sales floor antenna device is installed, based on the ID and a plurality of pieces of time information related to the ID recorded in the server device 4, and displays the calculated parking charge. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
