<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door locking mechanism for prevention of breakage of a cylinder lock by nonfulfilment of unlocking operation. <P>SOLUTION: The door locking mechanism includes a cylinder lock 42 having the structure that a first tumbler 47 fixed to an end of an inner cylinder 45 is rotated following the movement of a key inserted into the other end of the inner cylinder 45 when the key is turned. The cylinder lock 42 is fitted to a door 1 for closing an entrance of a vehicle body so that the key insertion end part may be oriented to the outside of the vehicle body. A front end part of the first tumbler 47 is bent to the center of the vehicle body. The center part of a second tumbler 53 is pivoted to the door 1 so that the rotational center may be the same as the axis of the first tumbler 47. A base end part of the second tumbler 53 is fitted to the front end part of the first tumbler 47 so that the movement of the first tumbler 47 may be transmitted. A stopper 58 is mounted near the entrance of the vehicle body so that a front end part 59 of the second tumbler 53 may face the stopper 58 when the door 1 closes the entrance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
