发明名称 PREFORM BASE MATERIAL AND PREFORM MANUFACTURING METHOD
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preform base material or a preform which does not deteriorate mechanical characteristics of a fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) molded product and excellent in shape stability. SOLUTION: The preform base material comprises a laminate obtained by laminating a fabric A which contains a carbon fiber bundle which is bundled using a sizing agent and of which the stiffness/softness prescribed in JIS L1096 (B-method) is 60-400 gf×cm at 25°C and lowers to 30 gf×cm or below at 60°C or higher, and a fabric B comprising carbon fibers interwoven with thermoplastic fibers. The preform is manufactured by heating the preform base material to a shaping temperature of 60-150°C to melt the thermoplastic fibers to bond the fabrics and subsequently cooling the heated base material. The fiber reinforced plastic molded product is obtained by a resin transfer molding method or a resin film infusion molding method using the preform base material or the preform.
