PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a joining member which is appropriately melted at a specified temperature to appropriately join a wiring substrate with a first substrate and a second substrate such as a seal ring, to provide a method of joining a substrate, to provide a joining member, and to provide a joining structural body wherein the joining member is interposed. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a joining member includes a first step to prepare a metallic plate 1 made of alloy containing a first metallic material and a second metallic material having larger ionization than the first metallic material, a second step to immerse the metallic plate 1 in an etching liquid and work it into a specified shape, and a third step to cover the worked metallic plate 1 with a metallic film 2 made of the same metal as the second metallic material.
