PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor of multiple terminal pairs to which a capacitor element of two-terminal type is applied. SOLUTION: In a solid electrolytic capacitor 10, each positive electrode terminal pattern 42A (and each positive electrode terminal 43A) is connected to a positive electrode part 24 of a capacitor element 12 through a positive electrode via 44A formed at a substrate 14 and a positive electrode pattern 38D formed at an element mounting surface 14a. Each negative electrode terminal pattern 42B (and each negative electrode terminal 43B) is connected to a negative electrode part 28 on the surface of a power storage part 26 of the capacitor element 12 through a negative electrode via 44B formed at the substrate 14 and negative electrode patterns 38A-38C formed at the element mounting surface 14A. So, with the solid electrolytic capacitor 10 placed on a mounting board from a mounting surface 14b side, four pairs of positive electrode terminals 43A and negative electrode terminal 43B formed at the mounting surface 14b are applied with a specified voltage, and the solid electrolytic capacitor 10 functions as a solid electrolytic capacitor of four terminal pairs.
