PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe device capable of properly performing the ultrasonic inspection of inspection targets having various curvatures without applying mechanical load to a vibrator. SOLUTION: A holder 15 is constituted so as to hold an ultrasonic probe 11 and provided with a shoe 14 having flexibility in a detachable manner. The shoe 14 is attached between the wedge 13 of the ultrasonic probe 11 and the inspection target by a holder 15. The ultrasonic probe 11 transmits on ultrasonic wave to the inspection target from the vibrator 12 through the wedge 13 and the shoe 14 and receives the reflected wave from the inspection target by the vibrator 12 through the shoe 14 and the wedge 13. The shoe 14 has various shapes so that its leading end is matched with the surface shape of the inspection target and can be replaced so as to be matched with the surface shape of the inspection target.
