PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin made crown shaped cage for a ball bearing which can prevent an inner peripheral side part of a pocket part from abutting to a rolling element during high speed rotation and hardly interfere with an outer ring and inner ring. SOLUTION: A resin-made crown shaped cage 1 for a ball bearing 10 is provided with an annular base part 2, a plurality of pillar parts 3 axially extending from one side part of the base 2 and a plurality of pocket parts 4 formed between the pillar parts 3 to rollably hold an rolling element 13. The pillar part 3 has a large-diameter overhanging section 3a which overhangs radially outward from the outer peripheral surface of the base 2. In the pocket part 4, the opening diameter of the outer peripheral side is made smaller than an opening diameter of the inner peripheral side by the large-diameter overhanging section 3a.
