PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable valve gear of an internal combustion engine capable of restraining the occurrence of useless behavior of arm parts of valve driving rockers for driving intake valves. SOLUTION: This variable valve gear is formed by connecting mutual end parts 37a and 37a of a plurality of rocker arm parts 37 extending toward the intake valves 13a and 13b among the valve driving rockers 35 combined with cam-follower cams 60 and 70 via switching parts 69 and 79. Rigidity endurable against stress is applied to the plurality of rocker arm parts 37 by reinforcement by this connection, to restrain the rocker arm parts 37 from being uselessly deformed and displaced.
