摘要 <p>Gas turbine gearing mechanism comprises a compressor (11), high pressure turbine (13) coupled with the compressor via a shaft (12), a low pressure turbine (14) coupled with the high pressure turbine via a gear (15) and a free-piston machine (16). Combustion air from the compressor for the combustion of a combustion air-fuel mixture in the machine is fed to the free-piston machine. Waste gas produced during combustion of the combustion air-fuel mixture in the free-piston machine is fed to the high pressure turbine and then to the low pressure turbine. Preferred Features: The free-piston machine has a free-piston arrangement (17) consisting of pistons (18, 19) positioned on opposite-lying ends of a piston rod (20), in which each piston moves in a cylinder (21, 22).</p>
