摘要 <p>A method for increasing the specificity of nucleic acid hybridization is provided to be effectively used for identification of specific pathogens and hereditary diseases and gene sequence analysis by decreasing the production of a non-specific product and maintaining the production of a desired product in a multiple PCR. A method for increasing the specificity of nucleic acid hybridization is characterized in that the nucleic acid is hybridized in a solution including a zwitterionic compound such as 3-(cyclohexylamino)-1-propane sulfonic acid(CAPS), 3-[(3-cholamidopropyl)dimethylammonio]-1-propane sulfonate(CHAPS), 3-(cyclohexylamino)-2-hydroxy-1-propane sulfonate(CAPSO), and 2-(cyclohexylamino)ethane sulfonate(CHES), wherein the concentration of the zwitterionic compound is 0.5-3% and the hybridization is a hybridization between DNAs, a hybridization between DNA and RNA and a hybridization between RNAs.</p>
