DEVICE TO HOLD FACE IN POSITION AND OPHTHALMOLOGIC INSTRUMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device excellent in its performance to hold a patient's face in position and easily create a dark place.

SOLUTION: It is a device B to hold a patient's face A in position. The device is provided with an air bag 2 having an opening 1 where the patient's head T is inserted, a support 4 having a hole 3 used to install the air bag 2, and an air supplier 5 to supply the air bag 2 installed on the support 4 with air to expand it. The air bag 2 is prepared so that it can freely be expandable or shrinkable between the states where it presses and does not press against the upper, side and lower surfaces of the head T inserted into the opening 1. So the air bag 2 can enclose all around the head T to hold it.
