<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the authentication accuracy of individual authentication using biological information. <P>SOLUTION: An authentication sensor part 60 comprises films 61 and 67, ITO films 63 and 65, a temperature sensor 62, a humidity sensor 64 and a pressure sensor 66. In a fingerprint sensor 90, by superimposing and integrally forming the authentication sensor part 60 on the film 52 of a fingerprint read part 50, when an authentication object abuts a fingertip F to the authentication sensor part 60 when authenticating a fingerprint, the fingerprint of the fingertip F is read by a fingerprint read part 50, read fingerprint data are generated, and read conditions of a temperature, a humidity and a pressure at the time of the read are acquired by the authentication sensor part 60. Then, the acquired read conditions and the read conditions when fingerprint data for authentication are read beforehand are compared, and the read sensitivity of the fingerprint read part 50 is corrected on the basis of the compared result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
