<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fingerprint authentication device and an information processing device capable of precisely detecting a forged finger when authenticating a fingerprint using a fingerprint sensor of a SWEEP type. <P>SOLUTION: The fingerprint authentication device 100 has a fingerprint information read control section 120 controlling the fingerprint sensor 110 such that fingerprint obtaining with high sensitivity and fingerprint obtaining with low sensitivity are carried out according to a predetermined switching pattern in one time finger print read action and a forged finger determining section 160 comparing a fingerprint image with the high sensitivity and the fingerprint image with the low sensitivity obtained by the control of the fingerprint information read control section 120, and determining that the object to be read is the forged finger when the difference is smaller than the predetermined value, and realizes the detection of the forged finger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
