<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic RFID tracking system suitable to secure a stable communication area with an RFID tag in tag communication equipment even when the tag communication equipment is placed under an easily displaceable situation, such as when the tag communication equipment is installed under an environment in which vibrations and impact occur and when portable tag communication equipment is used, and to provide an automatic RFID tracking method and tag communication equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The configuration is adopted, in which a detecting means 5 detects the displacement magnitude of an antenna 4 of the tag communication equipment (reader/writer 3), and a communication control means 5 controls the directivity of the antenna 4 so as to turn to the direction of the RFID tag 2 in accordance with the detection result. Thus, when the antenna 4 of the tag communication equipment is displaced, for example, by vibrations and impact, etc., the directivity of the antenna 4 is controlled so as to turn to the direction of the RFID tag in accordance with the displacement magnitude. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
