PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of, in simple configuration, correcting distortion of an image caused by lens characteristics. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes a correction processing section (23, 29, 33, 35, 41) operable to sequentially read data of an input image for each pixel in an order of scanning, and perform distortion correction for each pixel of an output image using the read data of the pixel.
