PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of simply applying dubbing processing to video contents recorded on a recording medium. SOLUTION: A video recording apparatus disclosed herein is configured for selectably displaying second contents for the dubbing processing associated with a dubbing processing instruction of first contents and for carrying out the dubbing processing together with the first contents when the associated contents are selected.
