PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor, an image processing method, and a program capable of efficiently performing trap edit processing to a second proofreading image. SOLUTION: The image processor compares a first proofreading image with a second proofreading image to detect a difference part (step S23), and displays the difference part on a display (step S27). Therefore, an operator checks the second proofreading image after automatic trap processing for only the difference part between the first proofreading image and the second proofreading image, and can perform trap edit processing if needed (step S28).
