PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera shake detector using an angular velocity sensor to detect camera shake information capable of obtaining the camera shake information with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The camera shake detector includes: a camera shake information calculation means that calculates camera shake information on the basis of a sensor output of the angular velocity sensor provided to a camera during an exposure period of still picture photographing; an image acquisition means for acquiring moving picture frames before and after the exposure period one by one each; a motion vector calculation means for calculating a motion vector between the moving picture frames on the basis of the two moving picture frames acquired by the image acquisition means; and a camera shake information correction means for correcting the camera shake information on the basis of the camera shake information calculated by the camera shake information calculation means and the motion vector calculated by the motion vector calculation means.
