PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-life and high-performance electrophotographic photosensitive material which maintains high abrasion resistance over a long period of time, hardly varies in electric characteristics, has superior durability and stable electrical characteristics and realizes the formation of high-quality images for a long period of time, the abrasion resistance and the electrical characteristics that is less depending on places; to provide its manufacturing method, an image-forming method, an image-forming device and a process cartridge. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photosensitive material has a base material and a crosslink layer formed on the base material. In addition, the crosslink layer contains, at least a cured product of a crosslink layer composition, which contains a radically polymerizable compound. Furthermore, when writing is made to the electrophotographic photosensitive material under the condition that image surface static power is 0.53 mW and exposure energy is 4.0 erg/cm<SP>2</SP>, a difference between the maximum value of potential posterior to the exposure and the minimum value of potential posterior to the exposure is at most 30 V.
