Disclosed is a packaging material comprising a basic material (1), a tear-off strip (2) located on the basic material (1) in order to be able to more easily tear open the basic material (1), and starting and guiding aids (3, 4) for locally limiting the tearing-open process of the basic material (1), said starting and guiding aids (3, 4) being embodied as cuts, perforations, or a material weakening. The inventive packaging material is characterized in that a first starting and guiding aid (3) is disposed in a zone in which the tear-off strip (2) and the basic material (1) overlap and tears both the tear-off strip (2) and the basic material (1) while a second starting and guiding aid (4) is placed next to the tear-off strip (2) and tears exclusively the basic material (1). Said packaging material features increased flexibility regarding the design of the tear-open area while reducing requirements regarding tolerances and making it possible to reduce production costs. |
