The assembly has a lens carrier (2) adjustable relative to an axis (A) and for firmly connecting two optical units. The lens carrier includes two partial carriers (5a, 5b) that are connected with each other using three connecting units (6) that are planar and are axially oblong. The connecting units are fixed in respective connecting openings (8) in an axially adjustable and frictionally-force fit manner. The connecting units and the respective connection openings are arranged at axial front surfaces of the partial carriers.
