<p>[PROBLEMS] To provide a sitting seat that utilizes a fiber structure so as to present excellent sitting feeling. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] There is provided sitting seat (1) comprising cushion body (11) composed of fiber structures (4a-4d) and, supporting the cushion body (11), seat frame (15), wherein the fiber structures (4a-4d) each have web (2) laminated so that the direction of outward extension thereof is along the direction of thickness (T), and wherein the cushion body (11) is constructed so that the direction of thickness (T) of the fiber structure (4a) is along the direction of load on the cushion body (11) at the time of sitting and so that the direction of lamination of web (2) constructing the fiber structure (4a) is along the direction of width (W) of the cushion body (11). As the web (2) is likely to fall along the direction of width (W) of the cushion body by the load of the sitter, the cushion body as a whole takes a configuration curved along the direction of width (W) around the loaded region as the center, and accordingly the body of the sitter is supported in such a fashion that it is wrapped in from both sides of the direction of width (W). Therefore, the sitter can have soft tactile sensation.</p> |
