PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the running of a magnetic tape by regulating swinging of a tape in a height direction when making the magnetic tape wound around a single reel run so as to pull out the magnetic tape out of an opening of a cartridge case. SOLUTION: The single reel 4 having the magnetic tape 20 wound thereon is housed in a cartridge case 7, and to pull out the magnetic tape 20 from the opening 26 and make the magnetic tape 20 run, a tape height regulating means 30 contactable with a side face of the magnetic tape 20 is formed by tape height regulation hubs 32 and 33 provided in an upper case and a lower case 3 to also work as a fixing hub for a locking member 29 holding a leader means fixed to an end of the magnetic tape 20.
