PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk cartridge capable of preventing wrong insertion in a recording/reproducing device or the like without enlarging the cartridge body. SOLUTION: The disk cartridge is equipped with the cartridge body 2 that includes an upper shell 4, and a lower shell 3 in which an opening for disk access is formed, and accommodates a disk-shaped information medium. The upper shell 4 is formed so that the height in a thickness direction of the cartridge body 2 in a central part region A1 of the upper shell 4 is higher than that in an end part region A2 in a width direction orthogonal to an insertion direction, and at least one of wrong insertion preventing convex parts 21(21A-21C) which projects in the thickness direction in height equal to or lower than that in the central part region A1 is formed in the end part region A2.
