PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device on which an observer can observe a picture in a proper direction to a screen without changing his or her seat. SOLUTION: The display device comprises a display part 2 which alternates a first display state wherein one picture is merely displayed in all display directions with a second display state wherein individual pictures are displayed in mutually different directions and a rotation part 7 which rotates the display part 2 to the right and left. The display device is switched to the first display state and also directs the screen of the display part 2 to a direction made correspond to one picture in an ON state when only the one picture is in the ON state.
